I'm Guilherme, a Brazilian/Portuguese citizen who believes life is much better when you understand data and pop culture.
When I’m not cleaning datasets or building dashboards, you’ll probably find me:
🎮 Gaming on my PC;
📖 Reading Sci-Fi books or comic books;
📺 Getting lost on YouTube watching videos about geopolitics, football, or general curiosity.
Ready to bring this analytical mindset and European market focus to your team.
A chronological overview of my personal journey and professional evolution.
👶 Early Days & The Germany Pattern
I was born on January 27, 1994. If you’re into astrology, that makes me an Aquarius, which basically means I’m supposed to be good-humored, a bit of a revolutionary, and very friendly. That actually defines me pretty well!In 1998, my father got an invitation to work in Wolfsburg, Germany. That was my first international experience. It was great overall, though it was also the first time I faced "negotiation challenges" with my little German peers (they weren't the easiest crowd back then!). In January 2000, we moved back to Brazil, happy that the world didn't end with the Millennium Bug!Germany: Round 2
In 2009, history repeated itself: another invitation for my father to work in Wolfsburg. We can see a pattern here: either he is an incredible worker (he truly is my biggest inspiration) or Volkswagen is crazy!Back in Germany, I attended Gymnasium, but since my German was nearly non-existent at the time, I struggled. I moved to Realschule, where my language skills caught up, and I managed to pass all my classes. This time, the Germans were much friendlier! However, in 2011, we decided to head back to Brazil so I could finish high school and reconnect with our family and friends.🎓 Finding the Right Path
After a few "trial and error" runs at different universities, I looked back at what I enjoyed most: Math and Statistics. I wanted something that allowed me to use numbers without being purely technical like a pure statistician. In 2017, I enrolled in Business Management (FASB), and I can finally say it was the right choice.❤️ Inspiration & New Horizons
My Greatest Legacy
In 2022, my family suffered the biggest loss possible: my mother passed away after an aneurysm surgery. She was and will always be the best person I know. I still try to be a little like her every day, but it’s a high bar to reach; no one had a heart as big as hers. She is my ultimate inspiration for kindness, attention, and being a "heart-giving" person to everyone, from close friends to total strangersThe "Italian Job" & Data Science
Also in 2022, my father decided to move to Italy for work (the man really loves Europe!). After my mom's passing, I decided to move with him to "try my luck" on the old continent. With that in mind, I:📏 The Basics
